 Gathering
donations of educational supplies and transporting them
to the schools has always been a focus of Connecting
Educational Communities.
Thanks to the generousity
of our PSU community and the greater Springfield, Portland,
and Salem educational communities, this aspect of the
project has always been well supported. In fact, we
now have enough basic supplies of pencils, paper, crayons,
etc. that we are able to target specific items we need
for this year's trip.
If you are able
to contribute any items from the list below, please
contact us at cecaa@pdx.edu
and we will arrange for their pickup. All items donated
to Connecting Educational Communities
are tax deductible through the PSU Foundation.
Here are
the special items we need this year:

Children's
sweat shirts with hoods and Children's Jackets
in good shape

Children's
sized shoes in good shape

Musical
instruments suitable for a classroom, such
as:
- Small guitars
or Ukeleles
- Tambourines
- Small Hand Drums
- Penny Whistles
- Wooden Flutes
- Marachas and other
percussion

Playground
Balls
-
Frisbees-(Solid,
not the ring type. We took a bunch of the
ring type last year and they were all broken
within an hour.)
